Course Objectivs

1.1 Acquisition of deep knowledge in a specific theme in Biochemistry or in closely related areas.

1.2 Development of the capacity of understanding and solving problems in new situations and / or multidisciplinary settings.

1.3 Application of the previous acquired knowledge and skills to solve real problems.

Evaluation Methodology: The evaluation of this course obeys to the existent portuguese legislation for the award of the Master degrees. It is also regulated by the "Regulation for the 2nd cycles", which is annually published by UMa. The student will be evaluated based on, the development of a project, typically of experimental nature, whose topics can be varied, should be in the scientific area of Nanomaterials and Nanochemistry, writing a thesis related to the developed project and his public defense.
