Course Information

Course Objectivs

This subject aims to provide, in the first place, a deepening of the field audiovisual of creation, and secondly an introduction to animation, in a context of professional audiovisual production directed to the proposals developed by the students. Also aims to motivate the student to work as a team to build a video. At the end of the learning the learner should: Know the current productions in the audiovisual field in the artistic context. Understand the fundamentals of animation and its different techniques.  Apply in a creative and articulated way the different languages of animation expressed in the results of the practical work. Reveal technical understandings in the scope of production, post-production and audiovisual mastering.

Evaluation Criteria

Lessons theoretical (explanatory content and text analysis) and practical classes (demonstration and handling of equipment, development of audiovisual works). Pedagogical assistance and individualized educational and balance at the end of each work proposal (continuous assessment); Proposals for work / exercises: analysis of the timing of the work, research, experimentation and realization of projects (periodic review).

1. Narrative, sound and cinematography: -Language and audiovisual narrative (preproduction) -Procedures of realization and photography (production). -Panorama and examples of contemporary author cinema -Foundations of sound. Features, Blending and Production

2. Experimentation and animation in production: -Examples of independent animation cinema. Animation: characteristics and procedures - Animation techniques: stop-motion, pixilization and cartoons -Postproduction, mastering and application of digital programs
