Course Information

Course Objectivs

The curriculum unit aims to introductory theoretical and practical approach of the fundamentals of digital design and 3D modeling, it is intended that the student by providing basic knowledge of visual language applied to a set of software (design, modeling and rendering).

Graphic Diary: Throughout the semester, students should collect the search mode exercises polyhedral translation, extrusion, fusion of various objects

Highlight the interplay between the creation of 3D computer model and its subsequent functional analysis, structural, aesthetic and workmanship.

At the end of learning, the student should be able to:

1. Knowing manipulate drawing tools, modeling and rendering

2. Interpret and analyze objects and shapes through 3D digital models

3. Understanding the diversity and complementarity of specific applications

4. Empower projects through modeling

5. Application materials and lights with the rendering of objects

Evaluation Criteria

Combinatorial methods will be used: demonstrative, dialogic, active and expositive for practical classes: Fundamental theoretical concepts for the domain in project-development in digital format are provided. To better consolidation of knowledge by the students, practical exercises which apply the methodologies developed are studied. In the practical component of the knowledge acquired through student develops three-dimensional project where you can explore the tools and as a result of this work to test and analyze the results.

Course content in this digital basis are developed through computer aided design tools in order to provide the components assist students to develop projects. This process is intended that the student explore mechanisms of construction and virtual simulation models capable of providing the student to make technical and formal and functional analyzes of work proposals.
