Course Information

Course Objectivs

1 Acquire knowledge and skills associated with the study of Transport and Roads.

2 Understanding the transport systems and the problems associated in their technical and social economic components.

3 Acquiring the ability to analyze the attributes of the traffic flows and the determinants of transport choices.

4 Understanding the dependencies between land use and supply / demand for transport and using simple models for estimate the demand.

5 Understand objectives and difficulties associated of transport networks unimodal and intermodal and evaluate their design and performance.

6 Knowing the basics of the projects evaluation methods and the legal framework and legislation of transports.

7 Acquire theoretical and practical elements essential to the roads design, especially roads and highways.

Regular Season - a test with theoretical and practical problems and questions related to the subjects taught in the discipline - It aims to assess theoretical knowledge and theoretical and practical by a final test that covers various topics of the course, which focuses on the ability of the student relate parts of matter. 2.
