Course Information

Course Objectivs

1 Develop skills for the analysis of fundamental engineering problems, in particular, for the analysis of the global forces, stresses, strains and displacements in linear structural elements (beams and columns) with elastic behaviour.

2 Develop analysis skills for the elastoplastic analysis of beams and columns subjected to bending.

Evaluation Model: A
Evaluation Methodology: Two tests in order to assess theoretical and practical knowledge. This way the student can, over half, evaluate its performance and change strategies as needed. Exam: final exam that covers various topics of the course.
