Course Information

Course Objectivs

1 The student will be able to calculate, demonstrate and interpret the results in equity systems, the relation between interest rates, equity capital, rents, loans and their amortizations and investment valuations, and inherently understanding the time value of money and therefore the return on capital, demonstrating the important role that financial calculation has, in society and in particular in organizations.

2 Skills: The student should be able to create and use calculation tools in order to resolve, effectively, the specific problems of financial management organizations, such as the choice of the best alternative investment or funding an organization.

Evaluation Criteria

Classification Type: Quantitative (0-20)
Evaluation Methodology: Normal season: the student will do two written tests, with a weighting of 50% each. Season feature / improvement: If the student is not approved in the previous season or wishes to improve its assessment, must do an exam with the overall weighting of 100%. The assessment was made in order to verify that the main aspects of the course were seized. Tests and examinations have to quotation 0 to 20, who have been approved rating equal to or greater than 9.50 values.
