Course Information

Course Objectivs

1 - The student should develop a general perspective about the company and its relationship with the surrounding, management, manager;

2 - The students should understand and differentiate the multiple dimensions (strategic plans, tactical and operacioniais) involved in business activity;

3 - The student will be familiar with the contents associated with the structuring functions of management (planning, organization, direction and control) and their interrelationships;

4 - The student should be able to handle some tools, arising from management functions, so as to achieve business objectives;

5 - The student should be able to identify key issues and concepts related to business functions, financial and production;

6 - The student will be familiar with the concept of entrepreneurship, while fenómemo able to, by identifying market opportunity, present a business momodel capable of creating value and at the same time providing employment generation.

Evaluation Criteria

the curricular unit has continuous evaluation, and final frequency taking into account the following elements and respective weightings:
- Periodic evaluation:

- Group work (50% N. end - minimum 8 values from 20).

- written test- Frequency  (50% final N. - minimum 8 values from 20).
