Course Information

Course Objectivs

  1. Be able to analyse the strategic behaviour of agents in static and dynamic games with complete information;

  2. Apply game theory to the resolution and model various economic problems; 

  3. Be able to think critically and evaluate an economic argument; 

  4. Ability to apply knowledge in game theory to the solution of theoretical and applied economic problems.

 

Evaluation Criteria

  1. Classification Type: Quantitative (0-20)
  2. Evaluation Methodology: Theoretical Lectures and practical classes (dedicated to the resolution of exercises). 

CURRENT ASSESSMENT

  • 1. Continuous Assessment: 2 tests (20%) + Final test (80%); 2. Final Exam: 100% 
  • Reassessment period: final exame (100%).

PROPOSED ASSESSMENT

Regular season:

  • Written test (50%);
  • Evaluation sheets (10%), and
  • Assignment (40%);

Supplementary and special seasons:

  • Written test (50%); and
  • Assignment (50%).

 Minimum passing grade in all evaluation elements: 9.5
