Course Information

Course Objectivs

This course is an introduction to hypermedia design and production. Students will learn design and authoring techniques for creating Web pages and linking text, sound, images, and video data for industrial, educational, and personal applications.
Main Competences:
¨Understand the concepts of hypermedia and multimedia
¨Understand and implement the basic principles of webpage layout and website development
¨Understand and implement methods for the organization and presentation of web-based information
¨Design and implement a simple webpage using HTML
¨Manipulate text, images, and other hypermedia content
¨Perform document layout and text formatting for the Web
¨Work with style sheets
¨Learn the basics and use JavaScript

Evaluation Criteria

-The evaluation is done through 4 assignments and 1 exam.
-Regular, punctual, and a minimum of 75% of attendance is required. In case of excessive absences, the lecturer reserves the option to lower the course mark or assign a failing grade for the course.
