Course Information

Course Objectivs

1 - The student should develop a general perspective about the organizations in general and of the companies in particular, as well as the relations of these with the environment, with the management, and with the manager;


2 - The student must understand and differentiate the multiple dimensions (strategic tactical and operational plans) involved in the business activity;


3 - The student will be familiar with the contents associated with the structuring functions of the management (planning, organization, direction and control) as well as their interrelationships;


4 - The student should be able to handle some analytical tools, derived from the functions of the management, in order to reach the business objectives;


5 - The student should be able to identify the main themes and concepts associated with commercial, human resources, financial and production functions;


6 - The student will be familiar with the concept called entrepreneurship, as a phenomenon capable of identifying a market opportunity, presenting a business model that can create value and, at the same time, generate employment.
