Course Information

Course Objectivs

Understanding the fundamental concepts supporting sociological knowledge and mastering the main theories adopted today.

Consolidate essential sociological knowledge necessary for the analysis of scientific societies to understand the dynamics and context in which Sport Culture grows.

Being able to: working in groups, discussing knowledge, revealing sense of social responsibility and ethical conduct, communicating and reasoning about the work done through oral and written exposure.

Evaluation Criteria

Evaluation regime:
a) Periodic evaluation - two written tests. (Weighting 70%)
b) Continuous evaluation - Written works with oral presentation (20% weighting); Critical interventions in class. (Weighting 10%).
Note: 1. The periodic evaluation is conditioned to 75% of class attendance.
2.The Classification obtained by the continuous evaluation can not be recovered in an examination       of resource
