Overall objectives:

1 - Learn the basics of interaction and interface design through practical assignments and studio based c rit. The students will end up with skills in interaction design, the design of products and services wich make use of technolgy and interactive features and interfaces

Syllabus:

1 - The content of the course is based on four main project based briefs where students develop interactive solutions to the assigned context and situation. Each brief will tackle a different setting and set of needs from the users and may vary year to year in order to keep the briefs updated.

Assesssment methods and criteria:

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)

Evaluation Methodology:
The evaluations are made on the basis of each project based on the assigned brief. The students will be evaluated during the development and at the end of each assignment on the basis of their initial research, ideation, prototyping and presentation skills. The grades will be based on their initial research (25%), the creative concepts (25%), the prototyping and evaluation of each one of the 4 assigned briefs (50%).
