No passado dia 19 de outubro, o Departamento de Línguas, Literaturas e Culturas da Faculdade de Artes e Humanidades (DLLC-FAH) da Universidade da Madeira recebeu as Professoras Doutoras Ingrid Cíbiková, Marianna Hudcovičová, e Bozena Petrasová, da Faculty of Arts, Department of British and American Studies, University of Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Eslováquia, que estão na DLLC-FAH em Erasmus Staff Mobility,
PhDr. Ingrid Cíbiková, PhD. (Faculty of Arts, Department of British and American Studies,University of Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Eslováquia) is an experienced university teacher and head of the national project KEGA 006UCM-4/2021-2023: Specialised communication and terminological literacy in foreign language education in secondary vocational education. She is the author and co-author of three monographs and textbooks, (Terminology management of Public Administration: 2012, A Stylistics approach to Canon Breaking Texts, coauthor Alcina Sousa: 2016, Specialised Translation, 2022, a number of papers, and a regular presenter of the results of her research work at conferences and seminars. Her research and pedagogical activities are devoted to terminology, terminography, translation studies, specialised communication, specialised translation, special language (Legal English, Nursing, Health, Business, public administration, technics and technology... ). She is also the founder and organiser of scientific and professional conferences Terminology forum.
PhDr. Božena Petrášová, PhD. comes from Trnava, Slovakia. She was born in 1964. After graduating from the Faculty of Arts of the Comenius University in Bratislava in 1987, she worked as a teacher of Slovak and English. In 1988, she received her PhDr. and in 2012 her Ph.D. degree in English linguistics and translatology. She has taken part in numerous domestic and foreign conferences and has written many articles. Since 2002, she has been working as a teacher researcher at the Department of British and American Studies of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava. Her research focuses mainly on English phonetics, phonology and morphology, but also on comparative studies of English and Slovak linguistic systems. She is a member of the national project team: KEGA 006UCM-4/2021-2023: Specialised communication and terminological literacy in foreign language education in secondary vocational education.
Dr. Marianna Hudcovičová, PhD. (Faculty of Arts, Department of British and American Studies, University of Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Eslováquia) is interested in English Linguistics, i.e., Phraseology, Contrastive Linguistics and Pragmatics. She is the author of two books (Grammatical collocation of verbs and prepositions, English prepositions in theory and practice) and many articles and scientific papers. She is a member of the national project team: KEGA 006UCM-4/2021-2023: Specialised communication and terminological literacy in foreign language education in secondary vocational education.
