"UMa seeks to safeguard users’ personal data through a range of appropriate technical and organisational measures, employing encryption mechanisms, pseudonymisation, federated authentication, access‑control systems, and other available tools, with the aim of ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and resilience of personal data.
To ensure the security of personal data, the University implements the following measures:
- - restricting access to personal data based on the “need-to-know” principle, as well as on the competencies and responsibilities of the individuals accessing such data, applied in strict accordance with the information provided to the data subject at the time of data collection;
- - transmitting personal data through encrypted communication channels;
- - protecting technological infrastructures through technical and organisational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorised access;
- - monitoring technological infrastructures at various levels, including access control, surveillance systems, detection of misuse, and abnormal traffic patterns, with the purpose of preventing, detecting, and blocking unauthorised access to personal data.
