Biographical Notes

Integrated Researcher at the Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies, University of Coimbra. From mid-June 2021 to early October 2025, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

His main research focuses on the cultural, literary and textual analysis of Plutarch?s work and of Greek authors from the Imperial period. He has also published work in rhetoric, classical mythology, and the classical roots of Western culture.
