Overall objectives:

1. - To deepen knowledge about Expressive Rhythmic Activities - Rhythmic Dance and Gymnastics;
2 - Understand relevance, identify the particularities and recognize the applicability of Expressive Rhythmic Activities at the pedagogical and methodological levels;
3. - Perform research on Expressive Rhythmic Activities, at historical, sociological and semiological levels;
4 - Inform and train the student through the practice of Techniques of Body Expression, Dance (contemporary, hall, folklore) and Rhythmic Gymnastics;
5 - To develop Self-confidence, Autonomy and Sociability;
6 - Develop the Sense of Observation and Imagination;
7 - Improve Critical Analysis Capacity;
8 - Develop Expressive and Creative Capacities through Situations of improvisation and Choreographic Composition;
9 - Perform and participate, individually and in group, in practical work in the scope of Dance and Rhythmic Gymnastics;
10 - Know, understand and apply the programmatic contents in an integrated way.

Assesssment methods and criteria:

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)

Evaluation Methodology:
1. Programmatic contents addressed with diverse methodologies, encouraging the dialogue and the intervention of the students. 2. The component of observation and critical reflection is developed, by means of researches and additional readings on the programmatic contents that allow the preparation of reports and group work (30%). 3. Valued and trained research skills, knowledge organization, communication and written and oral reasoning. 4. Mastery of the practical contents of Dance and Rhythmic Gymnastics are verified taking into account the different areas addressed (30%). 5. Knowledge is assessed through theoretical test (40%), with a minimum mark of 9.5 being required, and may go to the evaluation of the resource. 6. Encouraged the participation of students in classes, through work proposals that motivate the application of knowledge and the development of skills - minimum attendance, 75% of the total of classes.
