Evaluation Methodology:
"Classes are of the expositive, theoretical-practical type and have constant lecturer-student-lecturer interaction. During class-meetings students will develop their oral and written production in English, both through individual and peer work. Students are asked (1) to use their Workbook, which will help them consolidate what has been studied in class; and (2) to undertake a systematic study of the structures learned (levels A1 to B1) doing the exercises recommended in Collins Cobuild Student's Grammar - Self-Study Edition (with Answers). There will be also a focus on the development of oral skills by reading aloud and communicating exclusively in English. Concerning assessment, Assessment - Type A was chosen from the Assessment Regulation of Madeira University. Hence, students are assessed during the semester in two written partial exams (Exam 1: 50% + Exam 2: 50%), in which their reading, writing and listening skills will be tested."
