Overall objectives:

1 - Know how to collect in an integrated way the pertinent information of an observation context.
2 - Define procedures, use observation tools and know how to analyse and understand the information collected; (observation grids, network maps, genograms).
3 - Apply the theoretical knowledge addressed in the subject (i.e., curricular unit, UC) in the analysis of real situations.
4 - Be able to present and discuss the concepts considered most relevant in the topics addressed in the UC.

Syllabus:

1 - Construct observation procedures for different contexts.
1.1 - Delimitation of the field of observation.
1.2 - Choice and definition of observation un its: Types of observational responses.
1.3 - Observation plans.
2 - Observation in the different contexts of psychosocial intervention: data recording and analysis techniques.
2.1 - Techniques for recording observations.
2.2 - Observational data and their analysis.
3 - To think and to deepen different thematic and problematic ones related to the contexts in which they are integrated.

Evaluation Methodology:
Thematic seminars will be alternated with reflection n and shared discussion with practical activities developed in the partner institutions. There will also be presentation of illustrative cases, group activities and discussion of practical exercises. Training to observe and record observed behaviours. Participation in the different proposed activities is evaluated: an analysis of texts and construction of observation tools, production of individual and group written works that allow the evaluation of the application of acquired knowledge and techniques.
