Overall objectives:

1 - Consolidate vocabulary and grammatical structures that allow effective communication in English;
2 - Acquire and develop oral and written communication skills in English;
3 - Produce oral and written statements in English;
4 - Acquire and use technical vocabulary in the area of tourist information and communication.

Syllabus:

1 - Grammatical content - Intermediate level: Present, past and future.
1.1 - Regular and irregular verbs;
1.2 - Modal Verbs (can/could; must; may/might; should);
1.3 - Degrees of adjectives: comparative and superlative;
1.4 - If- Clauses: types I and II;
1.5 - Interrogative pronouns;
1.6 - Prepositions of place, time and movement;
1.7 - Frequency adverbs;
1.8 - Phrasal verbs.
2 - Analysis and production of oral and written statements in English in the general scope and in the commercialization of tourism;
2.1 - Formal and informal forms of greeting and presentation;
2.2 - Characterization of places;
2.3 - Geography and tourist resources.
3 - Reading and understanding of authentic oral and written texts.
