Overall objectives:

1 - Framing and understanding the geo-territorial dynamics of Portugal.
2 - Know the geographical position of Portugal and understand the influence of this position on the physical and human characteristics of the territory.
3 - To know and understand the physical and human contrasts of the country, on a regional scale.
4 - Associate the characteristics of the territory with the potential for the development of tourism activity.
5 - Understand the role of tourism in development and territorial structuring.
6 - Understanding heritage as a tourist resource.
7 - Know and use the methods and techniques of observation and interpretation of the territory, fundamental to tourist information.
