Overall objectives:

1 - Deepen concepts and knowledge on the area of Logistics and Planning within the scope of Civil Protection.
2 - Know and understand the implications of logistics for the success of civil protection operations.
3 - Understand the main logistical needs of the intervention forces, namely regarding food, fuel, transport, sanitary material, mortuary material and other items essential to the pursuit of rescue, rescue and assistance missions.
4 - Acquire knowledge on the theme of emergency planning.
5 - Know the issues underlying the organization and preparation of emergency plans to respond to disaster situations.

Evaluation Methodology:
In accordance with the expected for the Professional Higher Technical Courses. The assessment in this Course Unit will be carried out through the following components: Continuous assessment: 10%; 2 Knowledge Assessment tests: 50%; Practical Work (Individual and/or Group): 40%.
