Overall objectives:

1 - Adapt linguistic-communicative or discursive skills to the needs of the technical profile.
2 - Consolidate basic linguistic structures and the learning of new ones, aiming at the correct use of the English language by the speakers.
3 - Train written expression in English and improve oral expression techniques.

Syllabus:

1 - Reading and interpretation in context, based on a selection of texts of different types;
2 - Practice of using the language in real interaction situations;
3 - Writing practice (guided writing exercises and brief compositions);
4 - Lexical consolidation and expansion;
5 - Pronunciation;
6 - Review, consolidation and acquisition of the following grammatical contents: Verbs (regular and irregular, auxiliary); Forms, rules and uses of grammatical classes (determinants, names, adjectives and prepositions); Genitival symptom; Syntax (simple phrase, constitution and function).
