Course Aim
Intercultural competence can be defined as a set of skills needed to interact with people from other cultures adequately and effectively. One of the greatest qualities needed to communication skills and strategies is to actively engage with others.
The aim of this course is to provide and develop intercultural skills and create effective communication strategies for international students, not only for International Office Staff, but also for academics who work or want to start working with International students.

Programme
5 days in person
with lectures, workshops, cultural and social activities – May 27-31
1 online session for feedback on the physical part – June 05

Target group
International Relations Staff and Academics of International Students (for training)

Skill level
•    No experience or knowledge of participating in BIP’s is required

Language
English (Required English: level B2 minimum)

Number of participants and availability
•    Max. 20 staff and academics
•    Availability for both virtual and on-site component
