Unwritten Conversations: Stories in the Making invites writers, readers, and book lovers to engage in conversations about the art of writing and storytelling. This series aims to delve into the captivating world of story-making, offering a unique opportunity to hear from writers about their creative process. Each session will feature a talk between a writer and a moderator, either in person or virtually, creating a welcoming atmosphere for questions, reflections, and ideas to motivate aspiring writers and students of creative writing or languages and literature in the audience. 

The next session will occur on Wednesday, May 14th, at 11 am. It will feature a conversation between Vanessa Guignery (École normale supérieure de Lyon) and Puja Changoiwala, a journalist and author based in Mumbai, India. Puja is the author of two books of non-fiction, The Front Page Murders (2016) and Gangster on the Run (2020), and of one novel, Homebound (2021). Her work has been featured across news networks, publications and more, including the BBC, CNN, The Hindu, the GuardianNational Geographic and Al Jazeera. Previously a senior correspondent with Hindustan Times, she is a recipient of the International Centre for Journalists’ Covid-19 Reporting Award, the Laadli Media Award for Gender Sensitivity, Red Ink Award for Excellence in Indian Journalism and the Iceland Writers Award among others.
