Informative Note N.º 4/R/2020 – activities suspension

The University of Madeira informs that, according to the Council of Ministers’ press release of March 12, 2020, regarding the extraordinary and urgent measures to be taken in response to the to the epidemiological situation of the new Coronovirus – COVID 19, all teaching and non-teaching activities in person will be suspended from Monday, March 16.
According to the measures adopted by the Council of Ministers, this extraordinary situation will be reassessed on April 9.
As it is necessary to deliberate on the application of the above-mentioned suspension of the University's activities, the Rectory will inform today on the concrete measures to be adopted.
