Bruno Duarte Abreu Freitas is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Madeira and Director of the Higher Professional Technical Course (CTeSP) in Digital Marketing in Tourism. He has extensive teaching experience in courses such as Introduction to Marketing, Tourism Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing and Culture, Organizational Behavior, Business Strategy, Competitiveness and Innovation, Cultural Entrepreneurship, Mobile Marketing, and 360 Marketing Plan, among others. He also supervises Digital Marketing in Tourism internships and master's dissertations in Cultural Management at the University of Madeira (UMa). Previously, he taught at ISAL, where he also served as Deputy Director of the Department of Human and Social Sciences. He holds a PhD in Experimental Sciences and Technology, with a specialization in Marketing and Management, from the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC), where his doctoral work was awarded the distinction of Excellent Cum Laude and the International Mention. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Languages and Business Relations and a Master's degree in Cultural Management from the University of Madeira, where he was recognized as the top student in his Master's program. Bruno has published numerous papers in indexed scientific journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings, and has presented seminars and articles at international conferences. He has reviewed several papers for academic journals and participated in multiple research projects. His main areas of expertise are Marketing and Management, with particular interest in Digital Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Business Strategy, Consumer Behavior, Organizational Behavior, and Competitiveness and Innovation.
