Biographical Notes

Décio Alves holds a Bachelor?s degree in Environmental Sciences, a Master?s in Environmental Engineering, and a postgraduate qualification in Civil Protection. He completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Universidade da Madeira and is currently a Superior Technician at IPMA, I.P., Invited Assistant Professor at Universidade da Madeira, and researcher at the Interactive Technologies Institute, with interests in environmental engineering, civil protection, and the application of machine learning to decision-making systems.
