Rita Maria Lemos Baptista Silva, PhD with Distinction, in Nursing Sciences (2016) by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar University of Porto; Post-graduation in Continuing Health Care (2007); Graduate in Human Resources (2008); Graduated with the Specialized Higher Studies Course in Medical-Surgical Nursing (2000) Invited Adjunct Professor at the University of Madeira, Escola Superior de Saúde. Nurse Manager at the Regional Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. 18 Scientific articles published in national and international scientific journals. 4 Chapter(s) of books published nationally and internationally. Received award(s) and/or honors. She works in the area(s): Health Sciences with an emphasis on Nursing Sciences and the area of Education and Higher Education. In her research activities, she interacts with several collaborators in the field of health and education, co-authoring scientific papers published nationally and internationally. She was a member of 9 Juries of Academic Grade as Arguente, in Doctoral Theses (4) and Master's Theses (5). Member of the National Board of Directors of the Order of Portuguese Nurses, 1st Alternate (2016/2019).
