Overall objectives:

1 - The organization of events program has as main objective to provide students with skills and practical skills essential for a competitive and innovative performance in the area of organization and management of hotel events and catering. To this purpose, it intends to provide the theoretical and practical knowledge, fundamental to the whole process of its planning, organization and competitive management, highlighting examples of successful cases at national and international level.

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)

Evaluation Methodology:
The teaching-learning methodology will consist of theoretical classes, using the expository and interrogative methods, as well as practical classes, privileging the active method. These sessions of a collective nature will be developed using the theoretical exposition and analysis of case studies and scientific articles, as well as in an interactive way, encouraging students? participation. The consultation of mandatory and complementary bibliography, as well as the accomplishment of group work, research, open to the use of the new technologies will allow to improve the understanding of the subjects. The evaluation methodology will consist in the realization of a written test of knowledge assessment (50%) and in studies developed in students groups (50%). The main goal is to analyse and interpret cases of real events to identify good practices and factors of failure.
