Assesssment methods and criteria:

The evaluation will take into account, in a formative perspective, the attitudes, namely of an ethical-professional nature (attendance and pertinent participation of the students). It will include periodic assessment as a way of confirming the extent to which learning objectives have been achieved. The assessment model adopted is the B of the UMa Student Learning Assessment Regulation. Approval involves obtaining a positive rating 10/20, according to the evaluation units and the specific weighting of each one, namely: - Frequency (50%) - Group work (50%) with realization and defense by the different elements of the group. - IMPORTANT NOTES The adoption of this evaluation process determines the mandatory attendance of a high percentage of classes (three quarters, that is, 75%), without which the student's approval in this UC is compromised. As for students in special situations, they should agree with the UC professor, the alternative assessment modalities to the one exposed here, right in the first week of classes of the 2nd Semester, and, also, fulfill the requirements foreseen in the Student Learning Assessment Regulation Give one. Any of the assessment elements referred to here must be carried out by students during the 2nd Semester, and must obtain a minimum grade of 10 points. Students can recover the assessment of individual work - frequency (a) in the complementary period of appeal. The other assessments are not recoverable at the time of appeal since they are integrated into the laboratory practice component. Successful assessment units are integrated into the assessment recovered by examination, with a weighting of no more than 50%. All works delivered after the scheduled delivery date will not be considered.
