Overall objectives:

1 - Develop a global vision and a critical capacity that allows understand the concepts of tourism, leisure and recreation;
2 - Understand the problems inherent on these activities in different markets taking into account a macro and micro view of this phenomenon;
3 - Understanding the sport as a tool for action in this area and dominate the coherence necessary for use it;
4 - Operationalizing the developed knowledge through solving problems applied to sport situations;
5 - Mastering the design and organization of such activities in a real context.

Syllabus:

1 - Concept of tourism, leisure and recreation. a. Framing concepts in an evolutionary perspective of society and analysing existing coherences. b. Understanding of the current framework and study of strategies of action at the level of the sport in order to respond to the existing needs.
2 - Use of Sport to intervene in this field (tourism, leisure and recreation) a. Sports conception. B. Sport as an end or as a means c. Micro-management action tools (define behaviors to be asked and their pertinence, objectives, diagnosis / control / prescription and the problems inherent in the operationalization of activities) d. Interrelation of micro problems with macro management.
3 - Design and organization of activities; a. the. Design and organization of activities in an ecological context; B. Critical reflection on the processes of conception, operationalization and experiences of organized activities.

Evaluation Methodology:
The methods used are the oral discussions with the various subjects covered, problem solving applied to different situations that are proposed and the development of projects under design, orientation and organization of activities operationalized on the basis of tutorial guidance of teachers. The evaluation is performed through a written test 40%), the preparation of a proposed activity and orientation of this activity, design and organization of an activity for the entire class by connecting companies, regional bodies, infrastructures (30%) and the elaboration of a work to focus on the activity performed (30%).
