Overall objectives:

1 - Provide nursing care at three levels: promotion, prevention and rehabilitation of Child/family in the context of primary and hospital health care.
2 - Provide nursing care at three levels: promotion, prevention and rehabilitation for Women, Pregnant and in the Peri natal period.

Syllabus:

1 - Nursing care delivery through the application of knowledge about Nursing care to the child, adolescent and young, based on the Nursing Model - Life Model and the different pathophysiological situations: follow-up and evaluation of the healthy development of the child/adolescent/young people and care for the child/adolescent/young sick person.
2 - Analysis of the Nursing intervention as support to the family of the child/adolescent/young peoplehealthy or ill, in the different contexts of care.
3 - Nursing care delivery through the application of knowledge about nursing care for women (menarche, menopause, pregnancy and neonatal period), based on the Nursing Model - Life Model and the different pathophysiological situations.
4 - Carrying out a care case study on child/adolescent/youth people or women.
5 - Project execution and clinical practice report.

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)

Evaluation Methodology:
The CP takes place under the direct guidance of the tutors nurses and teachers-stutorial orientation. Evaluation, Model C of of the UMa apprenticeship evaluation regulation, includes clinical practice (50%)-continuous assessment; the case study/nursing process (25%) and the project and report (25%).There will be partial evaluations regarding the experiences in Health Centers and Services of Obstetrics and Pediatrics. The clinical component evaluation is carried out on its own scale (qualitative) including the perspective of the student, tutor and teacher. The final classification is responsibility of the teacher expressed in the scale 0 to 20 values. Approval refers to each components, minimum 9.5 values and requires attendance of at least 80% of the hours in clinical practice and participation in care and discussion/evaluation meetings with tutors and teachers. There is no recovery in resourse/improvement or special season. The presence/absence hours are equivalent to one full shift.
