Overall objectives:

1 - Envision intervention strategies in the community, collaborative and intersectoral strategies, to obtain health gains as well as to demystify prejudices and combat stigma and inequities in access to health and well-being.

Syllabus:

1 - Equity, education and health;
2 - Health and mental health: determinants and intervening factors;
3 - Education for healthy lifestyles and habits throughout the life cycle. Balanced diet, physical well-being, balanced consumption;
4 - Self-care, health project and community health intervention;
5 - Education and prevention of addictive behaviors and dependencies;
6 - Prevention and planning of responses to threats to human health and interrelation with socio-ecological insertion systems;
7 - Health care and mental health care practices: educational, psychoeducational, psychosocial, and supportive interventions;
8 - Prevention of violence and socially disruptive behaviours;
9 - Intervention in crisis and catastrophe;
10 - Health, social inclusion, demystifying prejudices and fighting stigma.

Evaluation Methodology:
An active methodology is adopted in which students are co-constructors in learning. The TP sessions will motivate students for the observation of community socio-ecological contexts. The situation analysis will be based on the subgroup/class debate. The seminar work will be within the scope of the listed contents, resulting in the themes, of the negotiation between teacher/students. The orientation will be provided, in the sense of the student's AT reverting to the deepening of the scientific evidence on the subjects. The evaluation will be based on the seminar work carried out in subgroups, which will result in a written work to be discussed with the teacher. The weighting in the classification will be 50% for the work and 40% for the subgroup discussion with the teacher. The active participation of students in teaching sessions will be valued at 10% for the final classification. Minimum classification for UC - 9.5 points.
