Overall objectives:

1 - In this curricular unit of a master program, students will be endowed with the knowledge, skills and tools to analyze the business environment. Students will be also be challenged to build business strategies that, using available resources, do create palpable value for the different stakeholders, always bearing in mind that companies are social spaces and therefore a space for relationships.
2 - Particular importance will be given to: (I) the consideration and evaluation of strategic alternatives and respective business models; (II) the relevance of leadership and organizational design in the context of strategic formulation, (III) the need to, eventually, consider an organizational change plan and also (IV) the relevance of corporate governance framework in the design of the strategic process.

Evaluation Methodology:
The classes sought to reconcile the theoretical content with the participatory analysis of case studies and the discussion of scientific articles. This regime will allow students to prepare themselves conveniently to carry out a group work and also to prepare a review. Assessment: 1 theoretical-practical work (50%) and 1 review (50%). ?Recurso?
