Overall objectives:

1 - To deepen students' knowledge on innovation and entrepreneurship through: 1) presentation, analysis and discussion of the different definitions of entrepreneurship and innovation;
2 - Understanding of the evolution of entrepreneurship and innovation as areas of research;
3 - Study of the various aspects of research on the phenomenon of entrepreneurship and innovation;
4 - Analysis of practical issues in the management of innovation and
5 - Understanding of the link between innovation and entrepreneurship.

Assesssment methods and criteria:

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)

Evaluation Methodology:
The program contents are addressed in the theoretical-practical classes where: 1) theoretical principles of the program are analysed; and 2) interactive classes allow the intense and valuable participation of students, where the referenced scientific articles, both in the entrepreneurship and innovation areas, are analysed, and innovation case studies are examined. The tutorial guidance will serve for the teacher to accompany students in the accomplishment of the curriculas unit's assigments. The evaluation is composed of two elements: two assignments (50% + 50%), both with a minimum grade of 9.50. At the Época de Recurso/Especial or Melhoria, the evaluation criteria persist.
