Overall objectives:

1 - Know how to write and substantiate the research topic in question;
2 - Know how to apply and quote the instruments of information collection;
3 - Know how to build a database;
4 - Know how to do a thematic analysis;
5 - Know how to execute and substantia te the analysis of the data collected;
6 - Know how to reflect the data collected and compare with other investigati ons in the area;
7 - Learn to draw conclusions from the data collected.

Evaluation Methodology:
In preparing the dissertation, each candidate is guided by a teacher or UMa researcher, or by another person who meets the necessary requirements (doctor or specialist in the scientific field of the dissertation, national or foreign, with merit acknowledged by the Scientific Board of the Degree. The supervisor is appointed by the Degree Director, at the request of the applicant. When the work of the dissertation takes place wholly or partly in another (s) institution (s) other than UMa, the Scientific Council of the Degree may, on a reasoned proposal of the supervisor, appoint a cosupervisor who must also meet the requirements described above. The evaluation consists of a Public exam, with a jury composed of the President (Director of the Master), supervisor and examiner appointed by the Scientific Council of FAH. The grade is assigned on a scale of 0-20 values
