Overall objectives:
                                         1 - The student should develop a general perspective about the company and its relationship with the surrounding environment, management, and the manager.
 2 - The student must understand and differentiate the multiple dimensions related to business activity.
 3 - The student will be familiar with the contents associated with the structuring functions of management (planning, organization, direction and control) as well as their interrelationships.
 4 - he student should be able to handle some tools, resulting from management functions, in order to achieve business objectives.
 5 - The student should be able to identify the main themes and concepts associated with commercial, financial and production functions.
 6 - The student will be familiarized with the ethical dimension and social responsibility of the manager and the company.

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20) The students are oriented and encouraged to relate the programmed contents to theoretical classes (where is presented and discussed the theoretical principles of the program) and theoretical-practical classes (in which cases and problems are discussed, where students will have the opportunity to use concepts, ideas and strategies presented in class). The evaluation consists of two elements: two written tests (50% + 50%), both with a minimum grade of 8.00. The assessment in the Appeal Period is based on the full content of the UC.
