Overall objectives:

1 - Currently, the need and importance of basic knowledge of financial literacy is fundamental, relevant and transversal to all of society, regardless of their training or professional activity. In fact, from the person who chooses to pursue a career in entrepreneurship, creating their own business or their own company, even without specific knowledge or training on this matter. Therefore, the objective of this UC is to introduce students to the fundamentals of Corporate Finance so that they can acquire a set of basic skills associated with financial management, in order to understand the financial situation and the sources of value creation of a business.

Evaluation Methodology:
The aim is to acquire and apply the knowledge foreseen in the objectives and syllabus contents. Normal Season: Two written tests weighted 50% each Appeal Season: 1 written test with 100% weighting. Students whose final grade is equal to or greater than 9.5 (nine point five) will be approved.
