Overall objectives:

1 - Identify the competencies and functions of the Family and Community Service Technician in the various contexts of activity.
2 - Know the labour laws and the professional performance evaluation system.
3 - Distinguish the various types of normativity and professional responsibility.
4 - Understand the importance of ethics for decision making in professional practice.
5 - Recognize the relationship between users' rights and duties and professional responsibility.

Evaluation Methodology:
The teaching-learning methodology includes theoretical and practical sessions, interrelated, using the participatory expository method, guided study and discussion of practical aspects. Evaluation methodology according to model B of the UMa Learning Assessment Regulation, namely in normal season: Continuous assessment, taking into account the following elements and respective weightings:. 1 frequency (50%), 1 work (40%) and the individual assessment will be made throughout the period of classes measuring attendance and participation (10%). The approval of the curricular unit implies approval in all components (minimum 9.5 values). There is a possibility of recovery at a time of resource/improvement or special. The form of evaluation to be adopted for the period of Resource / improvement is a frequency with a weighting of 100%. The final classification is expressed on a scale of 0 to 20 values.
