Evaluation Methodology:
As for the pedagogical model, the classes are theoretical-practical (48TP). At the methodological level, first, they involve a more expository component. Then, they reconcile the reinforcement of the exposure of theoretical content with the practical and autonomous work of the students. In classes, the methodology combines the theoretical component with practice, for a collaborative and participatory teaching-learning process. It is intended to be a dynamic methodology focused on the accomplishment of tasks aimed at exploring concepts foreseen in the program. Students are led to take up the contents of school grammars in order to cross-reference them with data from authors' grammars, according to different linguistic currents. They observe the variation in linguistic terminology and different grammatical perspectives. The UC intends that students propose reflection on the observation carried out, analyzing and describing data observed in grammars, dictionaries and other resources. The evaluation of the semester course is divided into two components, including the written and oral aspects. Thus, the evaluation may be done with an individual written work (50%) and an oral presentation (50%).
