A conferência tem como objetivo reunir investigadores, engenheiros, projetistas, agentes da indústria e dos meios de decisão de diversas áreas, para abordarem, entre outros temas, os desafios relacionados com o desenvolvimento de materiais e tecnologias de construção inovadores, com o estudo da física das construções e do desempenho energético, com a avaliação dos impactos ambientais da atividade da construção e dos edifícios, bem como os novos princípios da indústria 4.0, sem se negligenciar ainda o aspeto social da construção e habitação.
