Instructure and Facility Unit
To carry out studies and general architectural projects, and coordinate specialty projects, including measuring and budgeting.
To monitor and supervise University’s construction works;
To proceed with the consignment and reception of construction works awarded by the university, either temporary or definitive;
To create preliminary programs, specifications, tender programmes, procedures for project adjudication, public works contracts, acquisition of services or equipment;
To propose measures to ensure the conservation and maintenance of facilities and equipment;
To propose measures for the rationalization of consumptions;
To keep information relative to the inventory and registry of University’s patrimony updated, in conjunction with the Directorate of Financial and Patrimonial Services;
To coordinate the services of external providers, namely maintenance services;
To propose measures to ensure work hygiene and safety;
To ensure the development and application of prevention, emergency, contingency, safety, hygiene, safety and surveillance (active and passive) plans;
To carry out other activities that have been assigned to this department.
