Overall objectives:
1 - The discipline updates knowledge, expertise and perspectives of students in relation to the the history of German culture German current cultural space.
2 - Departing from the autonomous acquisition of knowledge about historical, cultural, social, economic factors and social media in the cultural space of German expression, using theory and appropriate scientific methodology, the critical communication skills will be practiced and the ability to read, interpret, contextualize and relate to cultural production German expression, in its dimension of symbolic production of meaning and values.
3 - Sensitivity to different cultures of German expression of modernity will be develloped with the aim that students are able to interact with the labor market economy in German-speaking countries.
4 - The specific interests of students will be valued in the active participation in class. Considering the intercultural content of the course and the course texts will be analyzed in different languages.

Evaluation Methodology:
In class the theoretical exposition will be consolidated with practical work. It will be exercised critical analysis and place will review activities and synthesis conducive to joint discussion, sharing ideas and questioning. The elaboration of an individual project supervised by the teacher will stimulate the developpement of especific interests, autonomous aquisition of knowledge, and of a appropriate methology of scientific research in the chosen field. Evaluation: It is in force Regulation of UMa B: a) Coursework / project / scientific internship report under faculty guidance to perform during the semester and defend in oral or presentation of a paper (Global Note: 50%); delivery by date to confirm in the Student Support Office. b) A written test (50%).
