Overall objectives:

1. Analyze the ethical dimension of the educational act and the importance of the reading of the world and the reading of the word in Freirean thought;

2. Understand the ecological-systemic approach of the educational act;

3. Distinguish ethics from morality;

4. To foster a critical and reflexive discourse about teaching professionalism;

5. Recognize different models of teaching professionalism;

6. Reflect on teaching professionalism in the processes of social transience;

7. To assume the professional teaching performance as a political, social and ethical component;

8. Analyze the ethical and aesthetic dimension of the knowledge necessary for educational practice in the Freirean perspective;

9. Understand the professional life cycle of teachers;

10. Understand the potential of the reflective teacher in the renewal of the school's representations and in the ideological dimension that embodies it.

Assesssment methods and criteria:

Regarding the assessment of student learning, in addition to the direct observation of each one participation in the classroom dynamics, his evaluation is based on the capacity of autonomous search for information, theoretical foundation and formal presentation of an individual written work, with an academic article format and oral presentation to the class. Criteria for this evaluation of written work are: 1. Necessary requirement for a positive evaluation: spelling and syntax correction (4 values). 2. Demonstrative theoretical depth of reading of original texts and the work under analysis (5 values). 3. Critical reasoning (4 points). 4. Academic style of formal article, in compliance with the APA Standards - 6th edition (3 values). 5. Quality of the works developed in the classroom and which are appendices body of each article. (4 values). Individual work written in academic paper format (50%) Oral presentation of work (50%)
