Overall objectives:

The students, at the end of the present learning unit, must develop competences that allow them, in the conceptual plane, to understand the concepts related with Leadership and Team Management, and, in the practical plan, the students must be capable of using these concepts to real situations in business and institutional environments, in an appropriate form. At the end of this unit`s term, the student must be able to: 1. Understand the transformation of leadership domains and the emerging of team management dictated by the new paradigm; 2. Distinguish and integrate the rolls of leadership and management in an organization; 3. Asses the role of culture and leadership in the applicability of the management of networks in Portugal; 4. Assimilate the leadership evolution theory.
