Undergraduate Degree in Economics
The main objective of the course is to develop skills which prepare students not only for the integration in the job market, but also provides skills to those who wish to futher their studies.
This degree offers training in fields such as Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, as well as Management, Economic Theory, Applied Economics, Law and Economical History, essential to any professional in the area. Throughout this degree, teamwork and the development of research projects are encouraged, with the aim of bringing students closer to the job market, and of developing their critical awareness.
In the last few semesters, students of this degree may choose between a vast array of optional subjects, directing their studies towards the professional path they wish to take.

Career Opportunities and Employability
Graduates will be able to work in industrial, financial or services’ companies, and in public or private entities. Upon the completion of this degree, students will also be able to work as independent professionals or follow the Teaching and Research career.
Candidates
This course is aimed at those interested in the fields of Economics and Finance.
Candidates may apply via the National Higher Education Access Contest providing they successfully passed one of the required admission exams. Candidates may also enrol via special regimes such as course/institution transfer, through one of the Special Contests in force or the Interntional Student Statute.
