Assessment Methods and Criteria:

Classification Type: Quantitative (0-20)
Evaluation Methodology: Teaching methodologies: - Lectures; - Solving problems; - Practical work in the laboratory, using network simulation tools or other network tools, configuring equipment, testing and constructing cables, etc.; - Support the development of the project, which consists of planning and dimensioning a network; - Seminars related to the project. Evaluation Criteria: - Exams, which aim at evaluating students' knowledge about the subjects covered in classes; - Project, with pre-defined deliverables. The project involves planning and dimensioning a network and aims at evaluating students' ability to apply the subjects covered in classes and the acquired knowledge. Evaluation: 2 tests: Topics covered in theoretical and practical classes; 70% of the final grade; Mínimal grade: 8/20 in each test. Project: Planning and dimensioning a network; 30% of the final grade; Groups composed of 3 students (maximum); Minimal grade: 8/20 in each delivery phase.
