Overall objectives:

1 - Prepare a dissertation project / project work / internship report in the scope of Regional and Local Studies, choosing a relevant theme within the scope of the master's degree, depending on the topics to be indicated by the teachers.
2 - Plan to develop a dissertation project/project work/internship report, aiming at an original application of acquired knowledge and skills.
3 - Describe the various aspects of a dissertation project/internship report/project work, taking into account the theme, objectives and methodology chosen.
4 - Present the dissertation project/project work/internship report.

Syllabus:

1 - 1. Methodology (25%) ? 5% for those who direct the course and 20% to be divided by the teachers 1.1. How to prepare a research project in Regional and Local Studies? 1.2. The modalities: dissertation, internship report or project work
2 - 2. Seminars (75%) ? to be divided by the professors to present their proposals 2.1. Presentation of research topics 2.2. Preparation of the research project in Regional and Local Studies

Assesssment methods and criteria:

Classification Type: Quantitativa (0-20)

Evaluation Methodology:
The teaching methodology will consist of theoretical and practical classes of discussion of themes, concepts, methodologies, plans and projects, as well as thematic seminars. Coordinators of lines of study of research centers and professors belonging to research projects developed together with other national and international universities, as well as public and private entities outside the University, may be invited, with which internship protocols will be established, to welcome students, but also to encourage and support project work and the dissertation proposal. The evaluation will consist of the presentation and discussion of the work plan (50%) and the final individual work, which will consist of the written preparation and oral presentation of the dissertation project, project work or internship proposal (50%).
