Course Information

Course Objectivs

1 Provide the students a basic formation in Building Physics refering the importance of this area in the exigencial and regulatory context associated to the project and construction of buildings.

2 Provide analysis methodologies for the physical behavior of buildings, concerning topics on hygrothermal behavior, natural ventilation, acoustics and natural lighting.

Evaluation Methodology: First Season - 3 tests with theoretical and practical problems related to the issues taught in the discipline - has objectives to assess theoretical and theoretical and practical knowledge. The student may, during the semester, evaluate his performance and change strategies if necessary. Weight: 34% 1st test, 33% 2nd test, 33% 3rd test Minimum: 8.00 values in each test Minimum test average: 9.50 values Second Season and Third Season - Exam with theoretical and practical problems related to the issues taught in the discipline - has objectives to assess theoretical and theoretical and practical knowledge integrated in a final exam that covers various topics of the course, which focuses on student's ability to relate parts of yhe syllabus. T Weight: 100% Minimum: 9.50 values Note: Students who achieve a rating of at least 18.5 values​​, will have a provisional classification of 18 values​​. However, they may submit to oral examination to qualify to obtain a final grade above 18 points.
