Generic objectives defined for the study programme:
a) Develop skills for the professional exercise in hotel u nits, in their functional management and direction structures,including technical capacities in accounting, financial, strategic and commercial, communicational and cultural, and technical-operational dimensions (accommodation, food and beverages, maintenance, safety, quality, human resources)
b) To value the application of knowledge, combining the leadership capacities with the professional competences in the intervention areas of the course;
c) Provide information and solutions relevant to the development of proactive management and direction capabilities, taking into account the internal and external multifactorial contexts of the hotel business;
d) Develop supervisory and strategic management capacities, following the good practices in force and applicable to the sector; e) Inculcate the need for a high degree of autonomy and lifelong learning.
